Agency wins another best practice award!

We are pleased to announce that during the October 24, 2005 OCDA/OFSA State Conference, our agency received for the third year in a row "A Best Practice Award." Our County was one of ten honored. The Best Practice Award exemplifies our employees hard work and dedication to the child support program.

This year our agency received the Best Practice award for a new program called "Seek Work Assistance Program" (SWAP). The overall goal of SWAP is to assist clients in the Ohio Valley Area, in obtaining employment who feel that they have certain circumstances that keep them from being employed. By assisting them, they may be able to find employment so they can start paying their child support.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend a special recognition to John Libetti, who received honorable mention as employee of the year, and the employees of the Jefferson County Department of Job and Family Services Child Support Enforcement Agency Unit.
